Summary: This country brief offers a summary of IYCN’s efforts to enhance community- and facility-based nutrition services in Mozambique. The project supported the Ministry of Health to advance the country’s Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative by aligning national nutrition policies with international standards and training providers to promote improved feeding practices. IYCN also developed tools and job aids to spread consistent messages about infant and young child feeding and maternal nutrition. The document is available in English and Portuguese.
